This is a new blog written by Nick Kilby, covering current affairs, the arts, and commentary on the big and small issues of the day from home and abroad, with thoughts, rants and musings.

“I felt bereft when Twitter became X, having found a place where, even with the restriction of only using 280 characters, I had a platform where I could commentate, rant and muse on all things and none. Having been a place of free speech, tweets soon felt angry and unkind.

I decided to leave Twitter. Soon, I felt lost for a safe space to express my views on a whole host of things outside my work. So here is a good old-fashioned blog, I hope readers may find things they feel are interesting and sometimes even make you laugh or reassure you, you are not alone in thinking the same things. I may be annoying or challenging; on those occasions, I hope you will be forgiving. If my musings are dull, I apologise and will try to do better next time. As the title says, feel free to ignore me.”
